Here are a couple of our favourite verruca problem before and after pictures.  Both patients are in their 60s and were treated at Hove Foot Clinic with Swift verruca treatment. They had both tried other treatments for their verruca problem both at home and with other podiatry clinics in Brighton and Hove which had been unsuccessful.  Swift is a highly effective scientifically proven option for persistent problem verrucas. Swift uses microwaves to destroy the verruca tissue and does not require any local anaesthetic or significant dressings.

Swift microwave therapy offers a significantly higher success rate for verruca problems in Hove than most other treatments available.  A patient’s suitability for Swift will be assessed at their initial appointment by one of our team of podiatrists.  Some patients with larger or long-term problem verrucae, or those that have pre-existing medical issues, may need more treatments. Does Swift Hurt?

It is not uncommon for patients to experience some discomfort during treatment for their verruca problem but the treatment only last a few seconds (usually 5 bursts of two seconds in duration) and pain usually subsides very quickly.

Most people with verrucae are suitable for this treatment however, Swift is not recommended for use on diabetic patients, patients with implanted electronic devices or electrodes or for use close to metallic objects (i.e. metal foot implants, jewellery etc).

Further information on Swift verruca treatment is available at https://treatwithswift.com/patient-info or please contact the team at Hove Foot Clinic who would be very happy to answer any specific questions or concerns.
