BSc (Hons) RC Pod

Lyndsay has recently joined us from a podiatry clinic in Steyning and has a keen interest in all aspects of foot health. She specialises in problem nails including ingrown toe nails, corns and callus and verrucas.  Prior to training as a podiatrist she worked with individuals with autism and learning disabilities and understands the importance of providing individualised care that caters to each patient’s specific needs.

I visited Lucy after struggling for a couple of years with plantar fasciitis and other foot problems, that had forced me to limit how much I was running. After having my gait analysed and being offered a few different treatment options, Lucy recommended custom orthotics. They gave me immediate relief, and after a couple of weeks, my foot pain had gone completely. Now, months later, I've had no further problems with my feet. Would definitely recommend to anyone suffering with similar symptoms!

I had a problem with my ankle, which would suddenly and without warning become too painful to walk on for a few minutes. This was happening several times a day. Lucy diagnosed the problem, gave me some daily exercises to do, and recommended what footwear was best. I haven’t had a problem with it since and am much more aware of taking care of my feet and ankles.

I sought out Lucy to help some very treatment resistant foot verrucas and success! Lucy is very professional, honest and clearly very skilled. After recommending Swift therapy within a few months, I was cured. Highly recommend!

I saw Lucy for some running insoles to help counteract my funky left biomechanics (bunion). I was fascinated to learn how my foot is compromised through her gait analysis (very high tech) and now have bespoke insoles to suit my feet. First race outing got a PB London Parks Half- despite a cold!! Very pleased with the service I received from Lucy who really knows her stuff and now have my trusty insoles for the marathon training ahead.

I have seen Lucy regarding a couple of issues and she has been so helpful and genuine i.e. not over sold on products and services. Most recently I had swift treatment on several stubborn verrucas...... I'm not going to lie, It really hurt.... but..... most importantly..... it worked and I am free from veruccas that I'd been struggling with for years.

As a keen runner I was experiencing pain in my foot due to a recently diagnosed neuroma. I had been treated by many different doctors/foot specialists and had even received a steroid injection to try to ease my pain, without any success. I visited Hove Foot Clinic, as I knew they had the latest in diagnostics, to try to find some comfort in my right foot. Lucy used a state-of-the-art walking analysis tool which highlighted the high-pressure points on my foot when I ran or walked. Lucy talked me through the results of the analysis and made suggestions to my running style to help ease my pain. Lucy also recommended alternative running trainers and also custom 3D printed orthotics to better support my foot and relieve the neuroma. I have now adjusted how I run and crucially I always wear my orthotics. My neuroma is now not causing me any discomfort, enabling me to run pain free.
